Admirals Upend Knights, 8-4
|
The losses keep piling up for the New York Knights.
Salvador Alou impressed in the 8-4 Seattle win over New York. Alou, who is tied for 5th in the BSA in RBI with 24, was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs. The Admirals, now 22-5, have hit the ground running this season.
Francisco Delgado, who is tied for 7th in the BSA in triples with 2, aided the Seattle cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth. For the game, the shortstop went 1 for 4 with a triple.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Alou.
