Calrissian Lose to Reef Divers in Walk Off
|
The Island Ballpark was rocking after an exciting Reef Divers win.
With right fielder Ricardo Reyes leading the charge, the Cozumel Reef Divers defeated the Orlando Calrissian, 7-5, at The Island Ballpark. Reyes went 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The winner was Dave Walter in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Watson Reed took the loss.
The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Cozumel trailing 5-4, Reyes hit a fastball from Watson Reed for a 3-run home run, giving the Reef Divers the walk-off win.
"This place was rockin'," said Reyes.
