Ramos Hits 2 home runs in North Stars Win
Behind a fine performance from Jesús Ramos, the Minnesota North Stars knocked off the Sausalito Meatballs, 5-4. Ramos was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the North Stars. Riley Cook snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-0 on the season. Arnold Garrett suffered the loss. Pat Key collected save number 5.

Roman Blackmore came through with a big-time hit for Minnesota. The pinch hitter smacked a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 5-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Blackmore.

With the loss, Sausalito is 15-13.
