Steers Get Clutch Win Versus Seattle
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Dallas Steers and the Seattle Admirals, eight-time All-Star Guy Harris was the difference-maker. The Dallas left-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win in 12 innings. The win was credited to Bernard Cháves in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Noberto Barba took the loss. Picking up the save was Rich Cervantes, his 3rd.
Takakazu Endo came through with a big-time hit for Dallas. The first baseman smacked a solo home run in the top of the 12th inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"Exciting game to play in," said Endo. "Getting the win makes it even better."
Dallas is now 17-13.
