Shaw Hits Two Homers in 14-5 Win for Phoenix
The Phoenix Firebirds stopped the New York Knights, 14-5, at Firebirds Field. The Firebirds got a big game from Myron Shaw, who hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. Millard Sandusky, the winner, improved to 3-2. He held the Knights to 3 runs on 6 hits over 5.2 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 0. The Firebirds sport a record of 12-21.

Shaw made an early impact for Phoenix when he stroked his 9th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came in the bottom of the third, put the Firebirds on top, 4-2.
