North Stars Absorb 4-2 Loss at Old Comiskey Park
|
Chicago beat Minnesota on the strength of starter Ricardo Aleixa's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-2. Despite the loss, Minnesota is still 22-10.
The Machine got a big at-bat from left fielder Ryan Holden. For the game, Holden was 1 for 2 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Chicago a 2-1 lead.
After the game, Chicago manager Pat Miller applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
