G-Strings Need Extra Innings to Top Sheens, 8-7
The Nashville G-Strings weathered an outstanding game by St. Charles second baseman Gerardo Castillo to topple the Sheens, 8-7. Castillo went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The G-Strings saw their record improve to 20-17.

Nashville needed the clutch hitting of Steve Wright to notch the win. The left fielder hammered a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the G-Strings on top, 8-7. For the game, Wright had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Nashville field general Armando Salazar.
