Steers Stumble, Lose to Admirals
The Seattle Admirals picked up a win at The Ship Yard, topping the Dallas Steers, 8-4. On the mound for Seattle was left-hander Dan Perkins. He played a principal role in the triumph. The first-place Admirals bumped their record to 25-13.

Making an impact for the home team was Adam Foster. In the bottom of the third, the five-time All-Star had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 3-1, Admirals.

"Dan was Dan," said Admirals manager Pedro Faboila. "We know what we'll get whenever he takes the mound."
