The St. Charles Sheens picked up a win at Crown Royal Stadium, taking down the Fort Worth Cougars, 4-3. Starting pitcher Melvin Hill was a big reason why. With the win, St. Charles upped its record to 22-17.

Making an impact for the home team was Francisco Martínez. In the bottom of the sixth, the 25-year old third baseman had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. That made the score 4-0, Sheens.

"I really like what we did out there today," Hill said after the game.
