Blue Crew Pull Out Late Win, 5-4
The SoCal Blue Crew faced a tough opponent in Minnesota pitcher Robinson López, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Blue Crew Park by a final score of 5-4. López went 7.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. The win belonged to Otis Blunsden in relief. His record improves to 3-3. Craig Jones took the loss for Minnesota. The save was credited to Morton Schneider, his 11th.

SoCal took the lead, 5-4, on Vince Peters's 7th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Minnesota pitcher Craig Jones in the bottom of the eighth.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Peters.
