Extra-Inning Win by Luchadores Over Steers
The Mexico City Luchadores overcame a pretty good performance by Dallas second baseman Jorge Carbajal, beating the Steers, 6-5, at Eagles Park. Carbajal was 3-6 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Mexico City reliever David García picked up the win to move to 2-1. Steven Jacoby suffered the loss. The winning streak has now reached 7 games for Mexico City.

The decisive blow was delivered by José Tovar in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a 2-run home run off fan favorite Steven Jacoby to win the game for Mexico City. The home crowd went nuts.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Tovar told the Mexico City News. "It's as simple as that."
