Admirals Deal Ducks 4-3 Loss
|
The Ship Yard was rocking after an exciting Admirals win.
The Seattle Admirals took Long Island pitcher Dan Olson's best shot and still were able to claim a win at The Ship Yard. The final score had Seattle getting past the Ducks, 4-3. Olson went 5 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 4. The win was credited to 27-year old right-handed pitcher Heath Hoffman in relief. His record improves to 2-3. Emerson Davis took the loss.
The decisive blow was delivered by Salvador Alou in the bottom of the 12th when he hit a solo home run off 26-year old right-handed pitcher Emerson Davis to win the game for Seattle. The home crowd went nuts.
"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager Pedro Faboila.
Seattle has an impressive 31-16 record.
