Poole Lifts Luchadores to 8-1 Triumph
Behind a fine performance from Ambrose Poole, the Mexico City Luchadores knocked off the Montreal Royales, 8-1. Poole was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for the Luchadores. With the victory, the Luchadores upped their record to 24-23.

Jim Brown was 2 for 4 with a double. He scored 2 runs for Mexico City. The 33-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With no one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring single off Jonathan Scott. It was his 9th hit of the season.

"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Brown told the Mexico City Herald.
