Irvine picked up a win at Eagles Park, bumping off the Mexico City Luchadores, 7-5. Pitcher Salvador Ramos was a major reason the Gang Green emerged victorious. Ramos got the win, improving to 4-2. He gave up 2 hits and walked 3 over 6.1 innings. He allowed 1 run. Jason DeLay closed the door for Irvine, picking up his 2nd save of the year.

Irvine used a well-timed hit by Thomas Launay to capture the win. The left fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Gang Green ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Launay told the Irvine Today.

The Irvine win streak is now 12 games.
