7-2 Loss Extends Jersey Shore Losing Streak
|
Glenn Buckley had a good game, but he could not keep the Jersey Shore D-Bags from falling, 7-2, to the Dallas Steers at Seabreeze Stadium. The Jersey Shore designated hitter was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs in the loss. The losses continue to mount for Jersey Shore, which has now dropped 6 in a row.
Dallas took control in the bottom of the seventh. With no one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Miguel Gómez hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Steers.
"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Dallas skipper Mike Moore.
