Gang Green Tear Continues with 8-4 Triumph
Getting a good performance from first baseman Ron Harris, the Irvine Gang Green defeated the Mexico City Luchadores, 8-4. Harris was 2 for 3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Gang Green. Irvine pitcher Tom Day got the win, upping his record to 3-1. Keith Bailey got the loss. Irvine has now won 14 games in a row.

In the bottom of the seventh, the Gang Green grabbed the lead when Harris hit his 13th home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Keith Bailey made it 7-4, Irvine.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Harris.
