84's Defeat Seals, 6-5
|
Graham Callahan had a 3-RBI game, during Greenville's 6-5 triumph over the San Francisco Seals. Callahan contributed 1 single and 2 home runs to the cause. The win belongs to Erin West in relief. His record improves to 5-2. Don Spalton took the loss for San Francisco. The 84's now own a record of 26-24.
Greenville used the timely hitting of Héctor Accuro to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the 84's on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"I like the grit of this ballclub," Callahan said.
