Emerson Davis pitched well, but the Yonkers Yetis still lost the game, falling 3-1 to the Dallas Steers at The Ballpark at Sloss Furnace. Brian Watson earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 3.1 innings. His record is now 2-0. Jeff Watkins picked up the save for Dallas, his 8th of the year.

Dallas used the bat of Duane Arellano to capture the win. The left fielder jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Steers ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

"Feels good to get the job done," Arellano said after the game.

The Steers have now won 5 straight.
