Muñóz Belts 5 Hits
Roberto Muñóz was at the head of a Fishkill hit parade today at Patriots Memorial Park. The second baseman went to the plate 5 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the Patriots to a 21-8 victory over the Nashua Redlegs.

"I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Muñóz told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today."

Redlegs skipper Andrés Macías said later that the club gave up "too much plate."

"Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that."

Roberto Muñóz hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and walked in the 8th.

This year Muñóz is batting .417 with 20 hits, 4 home runs, 12 RBIs, 5 walks, .472 OBP and has scored 11 runs.
