Machine Lick Sheens, 10-0
|
Good production from designated hitter Arnold Walker helped the Chicago Machine topple the St. Charles Sheens, 10-0. Walker was 4 for 5 with 4 doubles, while adding 7 RBI and scoring once for the Machine. The Machine' win now puts them at 23-34.
Walker had a key at-bat for Chicago early in the game. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a 2-run double. It was his 11th double of the season and gave Chicago an early 2-0 lead.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Chicago manager Pat Miller.
