An amazing display of power vaulted Greg Young and the Cincinnati Pride to victory and into the record books today, as the designated hitter hit 4 home runs against the Colorado Commanders.

Young was an unstoppable force for the Pride in the 21-6 triumph at The Royal Gorge. In the postgame interview, Young said he started to feel the pressure before his last home run.

"I could feel the anticipation from the crowd, the look in my teammates' eyes," he said. "I was already thrilled, but as I stepped in the box I said, please God, let me hit one more."

His totals on his history-making day were 4 hits in 6 at-bats with 8 RBIs and 4 runs scored.

Greg Young flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Alfonso Téllez in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Ángel Vélez in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Miguel González in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Jon Thurman in the 9th.

For the season, Young is hitting at a .262 clip with 18 home runs, 32 RBIs and has scored 26 runs. He has 28 hits, 13 walks and a .342 on-base percentage.
