Thanks in large part to catcher Ken Pinhey, the Irvine Gang Green beat the Charm City Baysox, 6-3. Pinhey went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. Irvine pitcher Dave Ramey got the win, upping his record to 2-1. Eric Fournet got the loss. The triumph puts Irvine at 30-29 for the season.

With two out in the bottom of the fifth, Travis Allen put Irvine in front, 3-0, with a 2-run single. The Gang Green went on to win the ballgame.

"Today was a lot of fun," said Allen.
