The Boston Rebels topped the Dallas Steers, 10-4, with youngster Reid O'Crosan playing a key role. O'Crosan went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Rebels in the win. Dave Lee got the save, the 1st for him this season. This loss makes it 6 in a row for Dallas.

Boston used a clutch at-bat from Robert Becker to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Rebels ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"From the last whatever, five, six, seven games, there's really only one way to go and that's up," said losing manager Mike Moore.
