Columbus Roughed Up By Admirals
The Seattle Admirals beat the Columbus Coalition, 8-3, at Agent 47 Field. The win was due in part to right fielder Randy Conley, who was 2-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Seattle is now 38-23, 8 games up in the Earth Division.

With Seattle leading 3-0 in the top of the fourth, Conley hit a fastball from Vince Peters for a grand slam home run. It was his 14th home run of the season and put the Admirals ahead, 7-0.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Conley told the Seattle Citizen. "It's as simple as that."
