DY-NO-MITE: Stewart Blasts 4 Against Lakers
Norman Stewart victimized Chisago Lakes Lakers hurlers, smashing 4 home runs in a herculean effort that will go down in the National League record books.

In an epic hitting spree at The Royal Gorge, the Colorado shortstop went downtown again and again, leading the Commanders to a win, 30-6. He went 4-for-4, drove in 10 runs and scored 5 times in the historic game.

"The first ones just happened," he said later, discussing the game. "However, that last time, I was swinging for the fences -- and WHAM -- I nailed it."

Norman Stewart walked in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Ralph O'Connor in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Larry Dennis in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Doug Martin in the 4th and hit a three-run home run off Brody O'Connell in the 5th.

This season, Stewart has hit at a .373 clip with 99 RBIs, 42 home runs and 66 runs scored. He has played in 72 games.
