Sean Brooks put on a hitting clinic as the Minnesota Death Stars dumped the Fishkill Patriots, 18-6, at Patriots Memorial Park.

The Minnesota catcher made Fishkill defenders earn their pay, lashing Fishkill pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Brooks said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Sean Brooks singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Enrique Sierra in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Rizaldo Padoga in the 8th.
