The Seattle Admirals beat the Long Island Ducks, 10-7, at The Ballpark at Sloss Furnace. Shannon Iginla, who is on pace for 201 hits this season, starred for Seattle. He slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 7. Roland Lukas sewed up the save, his 21st. Seattle leads the Earth Division by 13½ games.

Iginla had a key at-bat for Seattle in the top of the first. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and gave Seattle an early 2-0 lead.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Iginla, "and then get after it again."
