Dominant Performance by Martínez in Seattle Win
|
Iván Martínez never let the Browns get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Admirals to a win, 3-0. The win gives Seattle a season record of 46-18.
Martínez, now 8-2, scattered 3 hits over 8 innings for the Admirals.
"Iván -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Admirals manager José Guzmán. "He was the key to us winning."
