Gang Green Take Tight Tangle

The Montreal Royales got a sterling performance from first baseman Ralph Byrne, but the Irvine Gang Green still prevailed, 8-7. Byrne hit 3 home runs. He drove in 7 runs and scored three times. The Gang Green have an impressive 41-25 record.
The Gang Green got a clutch hit from center fielder Ken Clement. In the bottom of the 12th, he hit a run-scoring single to left-center, to win the game for the Gang Green.
