At Oceanic Ballpark, the Kansas City Kings and Cleveland Fire were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Cleveland pitcher Chad O'Slattery had a large part in his team beating the Kansas City Kings, 8-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. O'Slattery, the winner, moves to 6-6. He threw 8 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 1 walk.

Jong-your Yi had a big 2-run double for the Fire in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Cleveland leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 28-year old right-handed pitcher Jorge Urista and swatted a double to left. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Fire ahead, 4-1.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Yi.

Kansas City is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 7 in a row.
