Big Day with Bat: Norris 5-for-6
It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Warner Norris today. Norris went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Manhatten pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Manhattan Metro Field, he had a 5-for-6 line and a day he will long remember. And the Cincinnati Pride had a 13-8 victory over the Meatheads.

"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview.

Warner Norris hit an RBI double in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Harvey McDougall in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Joe Moore in the 8th and singled in the 9th.

So far this season Norris is batting .322 with 41 home runs, 113 RBIs and 97 runs scored. He has 134 hits in 416 at-bats, 50 walks and a .400 OBP. Norris has played in 110 games.
