Who needs batting practice? Apparently not Northwestern Wildcats left fielder Dave Raines, who missed the team's pre-game session at Olsen Field but peppered the Texas A&M Aggies for 5 hits come game time. The Wildcats went on to grab the 12-8 win.


"I was late to the park and I wasn't sure coach was even going to keep me in the lineup," he told the press after the game. "Maybe I should skip BP more often."
