Boyle Pitches 4-0 Shutout for Villanova
|
Sam Boyle handcuffed the Baylor Bears at Baylor Ballpark today, coming away with a 1-hit, complete game shutout.
"I had everything working for me out there," the Villanova Wildcats right-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted."
With his stuff working, Boyle had little trouble with the Bears and led the Wildcats to victory, 4-0. He recorded 7 strikeouts and 4 walks in an impressive performance.
