González Electric in 1-0 Win
|
Rick González was impressive at Sunken Diamond in the 1-0 Maryland Terrapins victory over the Stanford Cardinal. The Maryland pitcher mystified the Cardinal in a strong performance, giving up 3 hits and totaling 7 walks and 8 strikeouts.
"Rick had them chasing a lot of pitches and talking to themselves," Maryland manager Tim Chambers. "It was something special to watch."
