Vista Panthers Manager, Olivier Beaudoin, Hurt During Pre-Game Warmups Tuesday, May 28th , 2047 Vista manager Olivier Beaudoin was forced to miss yesterday's game after taking an errant throw to his head during warmups. While standing near first base, Right Fielder, Alex Miller, threw a ball to his teammate at first - only it sailed right by and caught the inattentive manager in the right ear. Beaudoin wound up being taken to a local hospital to be observed for symptoms of a concussion. Beaudoin is expected to be fully ready for the team's next game, as all tests for a concussion came back negative. When reached for comment today, the Vista Panthers manager saw some humor in the situation. "Look, I've been telling Adrián to have confidence in his arm all year and stop soft tossing the ball," he said. "It's too bad his best throw of the year was at me and not to his teammate." |
