Star SP Green Settles on Irvine Saturday, January 29th, 2039 Team insiders were tight-lipped prior to today's deal that brought 29-year-old starting pitcher Arnie Green to Irvine. Green is considered one of the league's A-list players and certainly will enhance any chances the Gang Green have to win a playoff spot this year. Since coming into the league, Green has a 55-52 mark and a 5.10 ERA. The 29-year-old hurler also has struck out 723 batters in 946.1 innings and permitted 1001 hits. |
