Injury Setback for Foxes Cervantes Sunday, June 6th , 2049 Things have gotten worse for Augusto Cervantes of the Manchester Foxes. The 31-year-old left fielder will not be back as soon as originally expected. Cervantes is undergoing treatment for patellar tendinitis, but his doctors have expanded his recovery time to at least one week. An unidentified team official told BNN, "Augusto tried to rush his rehab and suffered a setback." Cervantes is batting .266 this season in 48 games with 9 home runs, 29 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has 46 hits in 173 at-bats. |
