Morton Sidelined for 5 Weeks Sunday, May 20th, 2035 Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Mexico City Diablos, D-Bags catcher Ben Morton was injured being hit by a pitch and is expected to miss 5 weeks with a fractured thumb. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Jersey Shore skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow. Thus far this year Morton has hit .256 with 9 home runs and 21 RBIs. |
