King Cops #1 Pitcher Award in May Monday, June 1st, 2037 Jeffrey King's been around the league long enough to appreciate the honor he received today. After going 6-0 in May, the 34-year-old Denver hurler has been named National League Pitcher of the Month. He fanned 36 in 37 innings, logged an ERA of 3.65 and allowed opponents to hit .279 against him. Currently King has a 8-1 won-lost record in 11 starts with a 3.14 ERA. He also has 60 strikeouts in 66 innings. |
