Bowen Wins BSA Honor Monday, April 26th , 2055 So far in his young career, Don Bowen has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Baseball Stars Association in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Lubbock Green Sox third baseman hit at a torrid .478 clip as he collected 11 hits in 23 at-bats, 5 home runs, 11 RBIs and 8 runs scored. So far this season, Bowen has gotten 21 hits in 65 at-bats for a .323 batting average with 7 home runs. His stats include 15 RBIs and 14 runs scored. He has played in 18 games. |
