Harris Goes Long 3 Times
Wednesday, May 18th, 2039
Stan Harris went yard three times in a Kansas City Kings victory over the Montana Pandas at Su Lin Memorial Park today.
"I was in a groove," he said. "Every pitch they tossed up there looked like a grapefruit."
For the day, the Kansas City first baseman went 4-for-5 against Montana with 10 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting that led the Kings to the 19-5 win.
"I tell you what. I'm shocked because I didn't think that last ball had enough to get out," he told BNN reporters in the clubhouse following the game. "I thought it was just going to be a long out."
Stan Harris flied out in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Robert Newton in the 2nd, hit a GRAND SLAM off José Calderón in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Luis Rincón in the 6th and walked in the 8th.
So far this year Harris has 18 home runs and a .385 batting average.
