Wednesday, April 28th , 2055
Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Coalition-Ducks game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball.
Columbus third baseman Nick Warner thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Columbus to a win, 5-3, over Long Island.
"Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Warner said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run."
Warner was 3-for-4 on the day with 5 RBI.
Nick Warner struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Dan Olson in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Dan Olson in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off Eric Blevins in the 7th.
