Day-to-Day Injury Shelves Boggs Tuesday, May 4th , 2055 Admirals star right fielder Gunnar Boggs might be sitting it out a few days after he picked up an injury in yesterday's game against the Oklahoma City Outlaws. He sustained a stiff back while colliding with a player at a base. Boggs isn't expected to miss a lot of time. However, doctors want to be cautious. They said he would be day-to-day for about 1-2 weeks. At the moment, Boggs is batting .339 with 13 home runs and 27 RBIs. He has played in 28 games and scored 29 times. |
