Caine Named Top NL Hurler Wednesday, June 1st, 2039 The National League announced today that Christian Caine has been chosen the league's Pitcher of the Month. The Maui starter had everything working for him last month as he glided to a 5-0 record. In May Caine chalked up a 2.37 ERA in 38 innings with 27 strikeouts and 7 walks. To date this season Caine sports a 7-2 mark with a 2.77 ERA in 11 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .234 batting average and has 44 strikeouts in 65 innings. |
