National League Names Rookie of Month Wednesday, June 1st, 2039 Henry Cazares is still a bit shy, but then, who could blame the newest National League Rookie of the Month honoree? He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers. In May the Seattle hitter tagged opposing pitching for a .385 average with 35 hits, 2 home runs and 20 RBIs. So far in 2039 Cazares is batting .389 with 6 home runs, 33 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has 51 hits in 131 at-bats and a .437 OBP. |
