G-Strings Deal Durham to Timberwolves for Castro Sunday, June 24th, 2035 According to BNN there were mixed emotions by the players involved in the trade between the Nashville G-Strings and the Toronto Timberwolves. As part of the deal, the G-Strings swapped 32-year-old RHP Jim Durham to the Timberwolves getting 17-year-old minor league CF José Solíz and 21-year-old minor league LF Mauro Castro in return. The players indicated it was good to get a fresh new start in another city, but it was difficult to leave your friends on the old team. Durham has taken the mound for 20 relief appearances this season, nailing down 1 save while notching a 3-1 record with a 2.32 ERA. The Toronto reliever has limited opposing batters to a .207 batting average. |
