Bad News for Rippers, MacAlduie Injured Sunday, May 9th , 2055
The London Rippers and their fans were rocked today by the news that star starting pitcher Brendon MacAlduie would miss the rest of the season due to injury. MacAlduie was hurt in a recent game against the Minnesota North Stars while throwing a pitch. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. His doctors think that MacAlduie will miss about 7-8 months.
