Continental League Names Rookie of Month Sunday, July 1st, 2035 Alec Bowers's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Montana first baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In June he was voted the Rookie of the Month Award. During the month he hit .306 with 5 doubles, no triples and 10 home runs. Bowers also scored 19 times and drove in 25 runs. Currently Bowers is batting .354 with 69 hits and 16 home runs. He has knocked in 47 runs and scored 33 times. |
