Águila Day-to-Day with Injury Sunday, June 11th , 2051 It's a long season and everyone picks up some cuts and bruises along the way. The latest star to be suffering this year is Juan Águila of the Greenville 84's, who suffered a stiff back while making a defensive play in yesterday's contest against Nashville. While he could play through the injury, it's unclear whether or not the Greenville organization will risk that or simply sit him out for the 1-2 weeks the injury is expected to last. This year Águila has collected a .307 batting average to date with 67 hits in 218 at-bats, 29 RBIs, 11 home runs and scored 33 times. He has played in 55 games. |
