Gregg, Rodríguez Swap Teams Monday, June 26th , 2051 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Chicago Machine and the St. Louis Browns have agreed to a deal that will have 24-year old RHP Darryl Corrigan and 24-year old RHP Don Gregg heading to St. Louis in exchange for 23-year old minor league 1B Joe Rodríguez. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. This year Gregg has pitched 34.1 innings over 29 relief appearances, picking up no saves and held opponents to a .231 average. Gregg has a 2-1 record with a 3.41 ERA and 45 strikeouts. |
